CWRT helps industry define and measure sustainable business practices

Article Abstract:

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers' Center for Waste Reduction Technologies (CWRT) is helping companies across industry to develop and implement sustainable practices. These practices will enable firms to continue creating the technologies that have created many products which benefit consumers while reducing the environmental impact of their operations. A CWRT sponsor group has developed, for instance, sustainability metrics that account for both economic and environmental profitability.
