Calgary, Alberta-based KEFI-Exchange Inc is Canada's first Internet World Wide Web-based greenhouse gas emission-reduction exchange. The online service, which is found at www.kefiexchange.com, enables parties to buy and sell greenhouse gas emissions and reductions that can be applied toward an entity's commitment to reduce such emissions. These tradable, thousand or K emissions free index point certificates are derived from the reductions of carbon dioxide emissions associated with the electricity generation sectors in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Select the proper gas cleaning equipment

Article Abstract:

Gas cleaning equipment are installed for three main reasons, namely, recovery of valuable product, protection of downstream equipment and prevention of effluent releases to the atmosphere. Choosing the equipment requires matching the performance characteristics of the different devices avvailable with the process and efficiency requirements of the plant. A procedure for performing the matching is described.
