Article Abstract:

The wireless technology for remote health monitoring is started in cattle for monitoring heartbeat, temperature and signs of impending mad cow disease but is not prepared for humans to keep the older generation live longer. Electronics giants are working to pepper the home with a network of wirelessly linked sensors called motes slapped on nearly everything from coffee cups to bathroom doors.

The Palm-Z Indoor Flyer has a wingspan as long as a typical hand, a small electric motor, and a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. The remote-controlled plane could be flown in a 5 meter radius but will accept an optional infrared signal to lengthen its signal range.
