A 30 million pounds sterling complex in London, UK, dedicated to exploring the life and works of William Shakespeare includes the new Globe Theatre. The thatched, wooden theatre, which seats 1,500, was reconstructed with the help of archaeologists and historians who researched the site of the original theatre which burned down more than 360 years ago. Safety is of prime importance and fire protection systems include fire retardant roofing boards and a sprinkler system.

Article Abstract:

Estimation has introduced the latest version of its BidMaster Genesis estimating package for estimators. The new system, which uses the patented PowerPad for input and operates within the Contractmaster Plus environment, costs between five thousand pounds sterling and six thousand pounds sterling. The software allows users to manipulate data as they wish, while drawing on a supplied database of information on labour times, suppliers' terms and material prices.
