Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has started offering the Furon UPRP (Ultra Pure Regulator Precision) 1/4-inch regulator for use in a variety of semiconductor, pharmaceutical and chemical procesing fluid-delivery applications that need high purity. The UPRP is designed to deliver aggressive chemicals and deionized water while maintaining downstream pressure at a pre-established set level. The UPRP is available in both manually actuated and pneumatically actuated versions.

Heat recovery steam generator evaluation tool

Article Abstract:

Veritech has introduced a software tool for the evaluation of single and dual steam level heat recovery steam generators. The software tool is an Excel application that can evaluate fired and unfired heat recovery steam generators with complete control over fuel type and combustion characteristics. In addition, the tool has a design module for preliminary estimates of extended-surface heat-transfer coefficients and area and combustion analysis.
