Rotary turbine torques up the power factor

Article Abstract:

The Quasiturbine engine concept, developed in Canada, is of similar design to a rotary engine. However, it offers the benefits of a gas turbine. The developer claims that the engine can be used for hydraulics, pneumatics, natural gas, petrol, steam and hydrogen. The Quasiturbine has few moving parts, and can be used in totally submerged conditions because it has no oil pan. Its shorter high-pressure confinement times reduce both heat transfer to the engine block and the creation of nitrogen oxides.

Ordinary hardware - amazing images

Article Abstract:

PatternComputing is launching what it claims is the world's first system for automatic, unconstrained 3D facial reconstruction. One potential use, says the company, is landscape mapping, with the software having the ability to map the whole of the UK in four to six weeks.
