Hybrid PWM amplifier switches at 0.5 MHz

Article Abstract:

A hybrid pulse width modulation amplifier called SA07 that offers a switching frequency of 500 kHz is now available in the market. The 40-V, hybrid IC serves everything from high-fidelity audio amplification to brushless dc motor control. It is also capable of sending peak currents as high as 7.5 A and continuous currents of as much as 5 A. In cases when there are possibilities or overloads or excessive temperatures, the product contains protection circuits that inactivate all the bridge output transistors.
