Style, safety and switches

Article Abstract:

Electrical contractors can maximize their profits by offering customers a range of more expensive but attractive electrical accessories, such as stainless steel or brass switch plates. Contractors must ensure they can obtain a complete range of accessories so that they all match. There are accessories which cater for the needs of elderly or disabled people plus wiring accessories which improve safety in public buildings, such as lamp-activated safety lampholders and smoke alarms.

Making more of the generation knack: contractors may take a long time choosing their own tools but they should also take the same care when it comes to selecting the portable generator sets to keep them working

Article Abstract:

Contractors may be working on sites before a mains power supply is available although there will be a need to use power tools. A portable generator is the sulution and there are a wide variety of units available. Most portable generators have a 230/240 V AC output and they should have BS industrial output sockets fitted. Most provide a standard 50 Hz or 60 Hz operation and they should feature automatic voltage regulation, and one touch resetting.
