Article Abstract:

Advances in wireless telecommunications technologies are being used to locate cellphones on cellular networks and to track products by means of radio frequency identification (RF-ID) tags. Developments such as these can be extremely useful in quickly finding victims in emergency situations and? in preventing or solving crimes, but some observers worry about threats to privacy and security.
