Goulds Pumps offers the VogeL ICB series, comprised of close-coupled chemical process pumps that provide compact and economical solution for OEM applications and confined spaces in industrial processes. The series includes 25 pump sizes that are capable of flows up to 1,980 gal/min and heads up to 492 feet. They are suitable for service temperatures ranging from -40 to 284 degrees Fahrenheit and operating pressures up to 230 psi.

How positive-displacement and centrifugal pumps differ
Article Abstract:
Centrifugal pumps provide flexibility in flow rate while positive- displacement pumps generate steady flow that is not affective by transient conditions. The flow in the first type results from the pressure differential created by the pump while in the second type, the flow from the pump creates the pressure differential. The type of pump to be used depends on how fast the flow rate or how steady the flow should be.
