First Genetic Trust, which was founded in Sep 2000, functions as a sort of genetic banker, facilitating drug research while protecting individuals' privacy.

Where the wired and the wireless converge: entrepreneur Rajesh Reddy helped lead venture capitalists to India

Indian entrepreneur Rajesh Reddy recalls that only a few years ago, in the mid-1990s, investments in technology start-ups were almost unknown in Bangalore, India, which has since become a centerpoint of India's technology revolution. In 1998, Reddy's wireless networking company, Unimobile, received U.S. investment backing, opened the way for hundreds of other companies that subsequently have sprung up in the Indian-Silicon Valley corridor.
