Field boundaries in Great Britain: stock and change between 1984, 1990 and 1998

The main results on field boundaries derived from the latest survey, which includes stock, and change of field boundaries for the period of 1990-1998 are presented. The potential ecological consequences of the decline in the landscape features are described.

Estimating the extent and change in broad habitats in Great Britain

Article Abstract:

The results of a stratified random sampling of kilometer squares in Great Britain, using four area themes are described. The consequences of having different sample sizes for different years are discussed.
