Estimating and analyzing the spatial distribution of soil organic carbon in China

Article Abstract:

Nearly 2,500 soil chemistry profiles from China are analyzed, and the nation's soil carbon reservoir is quantified using geographic information systems. Quantification statistics and locations are presented, and implications for controlling carbon dioxide emissions are discussed.

Recreational scuba diving in Caribbean marine protected areas: do the users pay?

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that a broader application of higher user fees for scuba diving would contribute significantly to coral reef conservation expenses in the Caribbean region. Revenue generating capacity is analyzed per region of dive operator bases.
