Potential CO2 emissions in the Netherlands due to carbon storage in materials and products

Article Abstract:

The method used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to calculate potential carbon dioxide emissions from petrochemicals is compared with a new method. The new material flow analysis includes emissions that are released when the petrochemicals are used and results in a higher potential pollution amount.
