Food fight: the truth about genetically modified organisms

Article Abstract:

An evaluation is presented on genetically modified organisms, focusing on plant biotechnology and its environmental and consumer safety level. Dangers include harm to beneficial insects, genetic contamination of soils, increased use of pesticides, the risk of hidden allergens and the potential to enhance the spread of antibiotic-resistant diseases.
