The great progress being made in Italy's organic recycles sector is reported by the Consortium of Italian Compositors (CIC). The CIC is working both with the national and the European legislature insuring new rules, which are compatible with capacities and with the new technologies.

City council approves ordinance banning recyclables from garbage

Article Abstract:

The banning of disposal of recyclable paper, cardboard, cans and bottles by the Seattle City Council, which approved ordinance, is explained. This helped to reverse a downtrend in the city's overall recycling rate with the greatest decline in the commercial sector recycling.
