Converting biosolids to a renewable fuel

Article Abstract:

The Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD), California, has selected an innovative biosolids management technology as part of its long-range biosolids management plan and RFP process. The OCSD has contracted with EnerTech Environmental, Inc. (EnerTech) to manage one-third of its biosolids production utilizing their SlurryCarb process, which offers an innovative approach to treating and recycling biosolids that converts high moisture residuals into high-grade, sustainable power.
