Searching for paper profits

Article Abstract:

Balers should possess three basic qualities, namely, efficiency, high throughput and dependability to be appealing to paper processors. Paper mills are looking for cheap materials and since material is often not shipped by weight but by space, then making the bales as dense as possible is best. The more that the bale weighs equates to lower costs for paper mills. Also, the heavier the bales, the better they are for shipping and handling at the mills.

Narrowing in on the niches

Article Abstract:

Recyclers are able to manage their facilities more effectively by using computer software programs that are specially designed for the recycling business. These software packages help recyclers automate systems, manage margins and inventory and offer customers fast and more detailed information about the materials they are buying. Moreover, computer programs have reduced the amount of paperwork and administrative effort, giving recyclers additional time to focus on other aspects of their business.

Dependability: a top baling priority

Article Abstract:

Several factors should be considered when purchasing a baler for paper recycling operations. Among these are the reputation of the manufacturer, the efficiency of the machine, operational cost, user-friendliness and the specific type of baler that will be serve the company's operations. The current trend among processors is to acquire larger machines, but some companies are still finding the need for niche machines.
