FSC bespoke training for London Fire Brigade

Article Abstract:

The Fire Service College's facilities and incident ground provide excellent venues for the training of firefighters. Fire London Brigade and FSC have again entered into a productive contract which provides bespoke training of ten 36-hour Urban Search and Rescue exercises per year.

Combined services receive government approval

Article Abstract:

The proposed merger of the fire and rescue services of Devon and Somerset has received approval from the British Parliament. Details of the merger, which will take effect on 1 April 2007, are discussed.
