Evaluation of curbside recycling programs

Article Abstract:

The National Recycling Coalition (NRC) has published Measurement Standards and Reporting Guidelines, a handbook of standardized recycling definitions and measurement techniques which will help in facilitating program monitoring of recycling operations. In addition, the NRC suggests that in program monitoring, the measurements suited to a particular community should be determined, terms and procedures should be standardized and all collected materials should be weighed at the processing area.
