Rapid city closes the loop on MSW management

Rapid City, South Dakota Department of Public Works provides an insight into the development of the landfill area, which was on its last stage. The evolution of a forward thinking approach in a region with surplus disposable land in order to maximize recovery by reducing and recycling, is described.
