General Nutrition Centers

Article Abstract:

Fernando Barrios bought his first General Nutrition Centers franchise in St. Lucie, Florida, ten years ago and now owns five stores. He turned his first store around from earning gross revenues of $166,000 annually to revenues of $790,000 in 1998. He credits the turnaround to his personal care, attention and devotion, something that is missing in most corporate environments.
