Networking sans cabling

Article Abstract:

Intel's AnyPoint system permits computers to communicate with each other without rewiring. It provides connections between two or more computers using a single telephone line. The basic component is an external unit priced at $99 for one, and $189 for two. It plugs into the PC's parallel port. An add-in card version is available at $79.

The rapidly growing Hispanic population in San Diego, CA, has not only focused on promoting business but improving education as well. The San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has played an important role in promoting education by leading the effort to raise scholarship funds.

Networking in a fast-growing city

California and Texas are leading in terms of fast-growing Hispanic populations between 1980 and 1995. Leading cities include Dallas, Orange County, Houston and San Diego. Hispanic population also increased in Phoenix-Mesa and Miami, FL.
