Si TV reshuffle: Will a revamped Si TV management team succeed?

Article Abstract:

Jeff Valdez, resigned as programming director of Si TV, the nation's first all-English-language cable network targeting Hispanic viewers ages 18 to 34 and was replaced by Edward Leon, Senior Vice President of production, reporting to CEO Michael Schwimmer. Valdez who created Si TV in 1997, remains board chair as the network plans major marketing initiatives to beat the competition and he hopes that by 2007 Si TV will grow and its brand recognition will increase.

Continuing to shine: prospects for the outsourcing sector are as bright as ever

Article Abstract:

Despite the terrorist attacks and the shaky economy, the outlook for outsourcing firms is quite positive. According to Gartner Dataquest, the global market for business process outsourcing will increase to $543.48 billion by 2004. Business spending on IT outsourcing is expected to hit $700.3 billion in 2005, with spending on accounting and financial outsourcing totalling $37.7 billion by 2004.
