The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announces initiatives which signal the new focus of the group. President and CEO George Herrera plans for the organization to lead the way in developing true economic and political empowerment for Hispanic business persons. A junior Hispanic chamber of commerce will be created to encourage entrepreneurship among young Hispanics.
