Baby's eye view: what does the world really look like to a tiny baby just arrived?

Article Abstract:

A baby's trust towards a caregiver grows, as the baby's needs for food, and comfort are met. A baby will recognized its mother's odor in less than a week, but the process of mutual love takes longer. How the baby uses the sensations it receives to learn who its special people are, is discussed.
