Board game spin-offs of movies, Barbie, Waldo and other children's favorites easily outsell traditional games among the preschool and elementary set. Seven games are reviewed. 'Captain Planet' and '101 Dalmatians' should hold a child's interest. The others are not worth buying.

A working mother describes how difficult it is to leave home and go to work each morning, even when the children are older. She gets little work done because she spends time at work wishing she were at home, and she spends time at home wishing she were still at work.
