Can you be FAT & FIT?

Article Abstract:

Guidelines published by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute that indicate whether a person is overweight or not are based on the body mass index (BMI). The BMI is a combination of height and weight. Health experts, however, disagree about whether being fat and in shape is better than being thin and out of shape. Being overweight, though, does affect various parts of the body.

Walk off the weight

Article Abstract:

Walking is an excellent way to lose weight if it is done properly. The stride should be supported and have a springy feel to it, and be comfortable. Bent arms and relaxed shoulders provide a more natural gait. Walking has other physiological benefits.
