Article Abstract:
Nya Perspektiv is larger than most other Swedish design consultancies, employing five people, and this has allowed it to take a large share of the market for large projects. It has come to specialise in transport design, and does not believe that this conflicts with its commitment to environmental issues. Work includes design and specification for the planned Stockholm underground and a research project for the development of a new city bus. It aims to give Swedish design a better international profile, overcoming its traditionally conservative image.

The 'Regnum Humanitatis' trilogy: a humanist manifesto
Article Abstract:
Jacob Gretser's 'Regnum Humanitatis' trilogy was a 16th-century drama which reflected the Jesuit humanist position. The main purpose of the play was to praise humanist education, and it condemned vernacular language use rather than Latin. The character Priscian, a grammarian, has comic and satiric episodes, and the character Humanity is restored to her throne and judges the crimes against her Republic by unacceptable books.
