"I won't eat meat!"

Children may suddenly refuse to eat meat after learning that they were once living animals. Parents who have children entering this stage are advised to explain to them that meat is eaten because it provides certain nutrients that make people strong and avoid illnesses.

Forgiveness 101

Teaching children to forgive and forget is an important lesson they should learn because of its long-lasting benefits to them. Parents should serve as role models to help their children acquire this behavior by helping them blow off steam and encouraging empathy.
