Article Abstract:

Perennial plants such as black-eyed susan, coreopsis, peonies, bearded iris, daisies, carnations, lavender and the fairy rose need at least six hours of exposure to the sun everyday. Daylilies, astilbes, hostas, heuchera, lili-of-the-valley and liriope, on the other hand, grow well under shade.
