The case for childproofing

Several misconceptions of parents of children aged one to two years are countered. Contrary to common belief, children of this age bracket are faced with the danger of dying from accidents rather than becoming victims of street violence. Thus, parents should never be too confident about the way they set up the child's physical environment.
