The name game: you promised to love, not answer to his name

Article Abstract:

A woman criticizes the outdated practice of having women adopt their husband's last name after marriage. Women may choose to keep their maiden name as a reminder of their heritage. Divorce, which occurs in 50% of marriages, causes problems for women who have changed their names.
