The skateboard standoff

Article Abstract:

A father recounts how he lost the battle of the $200 skateboard with his son. His son hated his first skateboard because the other children mocked it. His father agreed to help him paint his old board with wild and colorful patterns. When this was also booed off the street, the father capitulated.

Too old to drool?

Article Abstract:

Toddlers still have the tendency to drool since their oral muscles are not yet fully developed. Another factor is that at this stage, they are also trying to master other skills and they need extra attention to perform simultaneous activities.
