A writer relates how she got a gown from a small store in Soho in New York to wear for the annual Swan Ball in Nashville, Tennessee. The Swan Ball, which is held every month of April, is the most highly awaited and widely covered event in Nashville. The gown was intended to be different from the usual ball gowns worn during the event in the past years.
