Article Abstract:

Reversing the facings and turning them towards the right side of the garment offers many opportunities for decorative design such as finishing the garment edges while adding style. Some of the tips for keeping the hem corners neat and to create special designs from facings are turn and topstitch the edge, line the facing, add a binding for a clean defined contour, pipe the edge, double up the facing to create a layered effect, opt for an unfinished finish.
