How to sew with boutis Provencal

Article Abstract:

Boutis is a needlework technique in which two layers of fabric are joined by stitching channels and decorative designs. Some construction and finishing techniques that make it easy to work with quiltlike fabric, and ways for stitching boutis to boutis by hand and boutis to plain fabric by machine are discussed.

Paint a fast finish

Article Abstract:

The usage of paint finished edges and giving a little a hem allowance to the vest made the sewing procedure faster. Painting the edges of the cut fabric not only saves it from fraying but also gives a different dimension as a whole.
