Seasonal chocolate confectionary

Article Abstract:

A review of the seasonal chocolate confectionary market revealed that market indicators are favourable but growth has failed to meet expectations. The estimated value of sales for 1997 is only 3% higher than the 359 million pounds sterling sales of 1992. The shortage of the sales period and pressure on retail space will probably restrict further growth. The seasonal confectionary sector accounts for 11.3% of the chocolate confectionary market, with Easter products accounting for 66% of the 1996 market and Christmas products accounting for 34%. Seasonal sales of general product ranges are also significant.

The classic moment: signs that B.C.is P.C

Article Abstract:

New books on the Greeks and Romans, TV shows, theater, art exhibitions, and author lectures are an indication that a new 'politically correct' fad is now in progress. Even the TV Guide had a cover headline 'America's Hot for Hercules.' Disney is preparing an animated 'Hercules' also.
