Goddess dressing is a style of classical dressing that mimics the Greco-Roman look. Women take pieces of fabric and wrap it around themselves in a way that covers their bodies, yet still exposes some skin. The history of goddess dressing is presented, from the heyday of classicism in the 1930s to Alexander McQueen's controversial 1997 haute couture collection for Givenchy. Examples of goddess dressing are presented.
