Article Abstract:

After fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi closed his ready-to-wear operation in 1998, he proceeded to turn down big contracts and instead focused on show business. After a four-year hiatus, he is preparing to reenter the fashion world with a new collection of clothing and accessories for the Target store chain. He will also launch IM to Order, a small, exclusive couture salon that will produce 50 to 60 made-to-order dresses a year.
