Lee Bontecou working on a retrospective exhibition of sculptures and drawings isn't sure if it is good or bad news but the show is garnering rave reviews. The retrospective has resurrected the artist who dropped out of the art world in 1971, at the peak of her success, preferring her family to her work but hopefully this retrospective will bring the lady back where she belongs.

Saville's large paintings of nude women assault the senses. The British artist, who paints only female nudes, contends that she paints women as they view themselves. She says that she likes to capture their identity, their textures, their heat on canvass.
