Statistics show that 11% girls in the 15-19 age group get pregnant each year while four out of 10 girls become pregnant before they reach 20. Reports reveal also that 15% of teenage pregnancies are planned based on the idea that getting pregnant will make them feel better or make their lovers stay.

Rape victims are most often violated by people they knew and much worse, trusted. Date rape victims mostly felt safe and detected no threat to themselves because they were in familiar company thus letting their guard down. Preventive ways of leaving a person open to such attacks presented.
