Article Abstract:
The Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) concept has changed the way infrastructure construction is implemented. Construction companies using this concept use private investment to implement developments that would have otherwise used public funding. Furthermore, Build-Own-Operate is a closely related concept usually used in developing countries. These two concepts allow advancements in technology to occur.
