The material of Calvin Klein's celebrated new body jersey was investigated. Du Pont's nylon manufacturing laboratory in the UK revealed that the jersey is made up of a nylon 6 outer layer, which is coated in Lycra. Nylon 6 is a round nylon fiber consisting of 36 nylon filaments.
