Bordeaux exports to several Asian countries, particularly Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, have risen dramatically from 1995 to 1997. Prices have gone up accordingly, a development that worries some restaurateurs. Asian drinking habits have changed recently, with an inclination toward health.
