Borgata ups the ante

Article Abstract:

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is the newest $1.1 billion hotel-casino in Atlantic City, owned by MGM Mirage and the Boyd Gaming Corp. The Borgata's creators have invested in a roster of fine-dining restaurants that they hope would bring in a more sophisticated, freer-spending clientele that usually found traipsing through Atlantic City's casino.

New kitchens for Charlie Palmer

Article Abstract:

Best known for his upscale Aureole restaurants in New York and Las Vegas, chef Charlie Palmer has opened two new restaurants with unique twists to their wine lists. According to wine director, Scott Brenner the new restaurants offers plenty of good, interesting wines at the value end of the price scale.

Ame, Redd: Two Napa valley chefs step up and out

Hiro Sone and Lissa Doumani, the husband-and-wife team opened Ame, in San Francisco's St Regis hotel in November 2006, following the success of their St. Helena restaurant, Terra. Ame, which means 'raindrop' in Japanese, offers a blend of Japanese, Italian and French cuisines.
