Chateau Margaux: Awakening a sleeping beauty

Article Abstract:

Corinne Mentzelopoulos, owner of Chateau Margaux, gained the sole ownership of the chateau in 2003 after 25-plus years at the helm. Margaux's vineyards were established in the 16th century, making the property the second oldest of the first-growths, and the monumental neoclassical chateau, which seems to epitomize the identity of Bordeaux itself, was built in 1811.
