The 1994 Burgundy vintage was an uneven one, although several excellent wines emerged. The newest releases are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. A 1994 Sominique Laurent Eschezeaux at $75 is rated 97.

Some of the best wines of Leroy are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. A 1993 Domaine Leroy Domaine St-Vivant at $500 is rated 99, and a 1969 Leroy Chambertin priced at $311 is rated 98.
