The new, very premium vodkas are selling well among the high-quality martini crowd. Such vodkas as Stolichnaya Cristall and Dutch Ketel One are among great smooth offerings. The method by which these vodkas are made and a list of resources are given.

Hard times: hard cider, a strong and traditionally American drink, is making a strong comeback

Hard cider has become increasingly popular, and large beverage companies have recently begun to notice the trend. Stroh Brewery Co and E & J Gallo are now in the cider business. Hard cider is actually apple wine and is not distilled.
