Robert Mondavi and Disneyland to join up

Article Abstract:

Robert Mondavi Winery of Napa Valley, CA, is teaming with Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, to set up a California wine experience section in Disney's California Adventure theme park. The wine country section will be amongst other attractions in the theme park which will highlight the unique tourist offerings of California. California Adventure will highlight attractions such as Yosemite Valley, Hollywood and the beachfronts dotting the state. The theme park, which is slated to begin operating in 2001, will employ 130 employees to be provided by Robert Mondavi Winery.

Winery owners do pressure their wine makers to produce wines that will earn a rating of 90 or higher, as readers suspected. Although wines scoring 85 are very good, the 90-point mark is often a make-or-break line for wineries, who do what they can in processing to compete with world's best vineyards.

The improvements planned by the manufacturers in Montavi's Napa Valley to improve their production are presented. These improvements are due to the sudden surge in the quality, which affect the company on the corporation's bottom line.
